Backstory: There’s nothing like a fine, sharp sword, right? At least for Emil, it’s always been that way. His whole life has revolved around swordsmanship. As a child, armed with nothing but a wooden sword, he would head into the forest and hunt wild boars to feed his family. At 14, he decided to join the king’s guard. There he completed basic training and eventually rose to the rank of officer. However, at the age of 22, he was suspended from service for a year due to insubordination, returning afterward as a regular soldier in the guard. He had simply refused to suppress a peasant uprising.
